Mission & Objectives
The Home Based Business Council of Australia Ltd mission is to:
- Promote, foster and advance the establishment and use of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- Improve the wealth, happiness and or satisfaction from work of Australians particularly through the advancement of the establishment and use of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia, micro businesses and startup businesses;
- Promote and maintain the professional and ethical standards of owners, principals and founders of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- Advocate for, promote and defend/protect the interests of owners, principals and founders of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- Complement and support the activities and growth of home based businesses by providing products, services and facilities that:
- Meet the business, family and cultural needs of owners, principals’ founders, and employees of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- promote the welfare of owners, principals’ founders, and employees of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- Develop a sense of community among owners, principals’ founders, and employees of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- Promote the well-being of owners, principals’ founders, and employees of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- Provide and support education that promotes the establishment, use and growth of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- Provide and support research activity that drives best practice of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- Promote ongoing development to promulgate best practice and accountability of owners, principals and founders of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and startup businesses throughout Australia;
- Develop partnerships with government, business and community groups to work together on matters of interest to the industry of home based business, small to medium sized businesses, and start-up businesses throughout Australia.
