There is limited support from both the government and non-government bodies specifically dealing with the issues and challenges facing home based business owners. Home based businesses are entrepreneurial, innovative and the backbone of the Australian economy.

The market continues to grow to help support people achieve a work-life balance, are refugees, single parents, women entrepreneurs, start-ups, people with a disability and of course the gig economy.

The Home Based Business Council of Australia Ltd (HBBCA), is a not-for-profit organisation, created to provide, promote, educate and assist stakeholders to collaborate more freely and purposefully.
